Anything your in-house paralegals can do, for the most part we would be able to do. Our scope of work has included, all stages of case development and review in pre-litigation, cases in litigation, and cases that are taken to trial. From a medical perspective in many jurisdictions we can prepare applicable affidavits of merit, reports, and be a cost effective resource to the needed support work that has a medical component. In addition, assignments have included document reviews, to sorting and organize medical records, identifying additional records, and potential medical consultants and experts. Preparing medical chronology, provide interpretations, medical analysis (within our scope of education and licensing). As paralegal support we can also assist in all aspects of discovery that you want us to prepare or respond to. We can conduct fact gathering, contact, prepare correspondence, open records request. Research, collect documents, and ready demands as you direct for your case.
In addition, as paralegals we are familiar with preparing legal documents according to court rules and statutes. Assisting with the drafting of legal documents, briefs and pleadings. Along with creating table of contents, table of authorities, checking cites, and the relating minutiae to assure legal documents conform to required formats. We have a full suite of office technology commonly used in everyday law offices, and can create and convert documents to and from many different electronic formats. Typical services also include scanning, OCR, Bates stamps, preparing and labeling exhibits, to printings documents and mailings. In many jurisdictions we can also assist in e-filing and e-service.
